Savas Plastik had started making plastic products in 1956 as a small shop in the centre of Istanbul. This then gradually evolved first into a workshop and then became a factory basically producing household wares and acting as subcontractor to electronics and white goods manufacturers. Early nineties Savas Plastik started manufacturing resin garden furniture becoming one of the leading companies in that field. At the turn of the century it moved its production into new and bigger facilities consisting of over 15000 m2 covered area in the Istanbul area of Avcilar. While moving into the new factory Savas Plastik decided to start a new venture, namely the production of contract furniture adding aluminum as new material to resin and eventually the company became a front runner in this field. The main target for these new products is epresented by worldwide exports. By tiresome efforts and participating to many international exhibitions we nowadays proudly export to over 70 countries. Meanwhile, as a natural result of our quality efforts and putting customers satisfaction as a top priority, our factory has obtained ISO 9001: 2000 Quality System Certification. Lately, in accordance with international market trends and in addition to its production activity, the Savas group has started a new commercial venture consisting of imports of office as well as indoor and outdoor furniture from the Far East. All these new collections are properly presented and offered to customers in the new branch established in southern Turkish town Antalya. Being now an internationally known company, a new attempt was initiated to set up an umbrella trade-mark to cover all fields of activities, namely TILIA. Our customers will therefore from now on now find all our products in catalogues under the TILIA brand.
